Two Flight Plan 2008
Revised May 18, 2008 The standard time for EAA Chapter Two Get-Togethers is the second Friday of each month at 7:00PM in the Ivy Tech Airframe and Power Plant School on Ludwig Road about mid-way along the Smith Field Airport. However, we often hold events off-field as well. On months with Young Eagles events, the Young Eagles event would take the place of the regular Friday evening Get-Togethers. NOTE: Young Eagle Rallies are in RED! June 14, Saturday 10:00AM - 2:00PM Smith Field. Young Eagles Event. Volunteer pilots and ground crew give free first-time flights to youth ages 8 to 17 years old. June 29, Sunday (time to be announced) Picnic at SMD. July - No Get-Together scheduled. Hope to see you at Airventure in Oshkosh, WI, July 28-Aug. 3, for the greatest Airshow on Earth. August 9, Saturday 10:00AM - 2:00PM. Smith Field. Young Eagles Event. Volunteer pilots and ground crew give free first-time flights to youth ages 8 to 17 years old. August 10, Sunday (time to be announced) Fly-in/Drive-in breakfast at Husted’s airport. September 13, Saturday 10:00AM - 2:00PM. NOTE LOCATION: DeKalb County Airport - GWB, formerly 07C. From Ft. Wayne, go north on Tonkel Road to DeKalb County Road 60.
