The standard day and time for EAA Chapter Two 'Get-Togethers' is the second Friday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Ivy Tech Airframe and Power Plant School on Ludwig Road, about mid-way along the south edge of Smith Field Airport.  However, we often hold events off-field as well.

26th: Cookout at SMD 5-8PM

10th: Pancake Breakfast SMD 7-11AM

17th: Cookout/Young Eagles at Auburn

26th-Aug 1: Airventure Oshkosh

8th: Husted Breakfast Fly-In 8 AM

14th: Young Eagles Event at SMD 10AM – 2PM  WEATHER PERMITTING!

21st: Glider rides at Alexandria IN airport (???)

11th: Young Eagles Event at SMD 10AM – 2PM  WEATHER PERMITTING!

9th: Chili Lunch Fly-In at SMD 11AM – 3PM

13th: Project tours

4th: Holiday Party 6 PM Ivy Tech

*All Young Eagles Rallies are pending the outcome of the weather for each particular day. This is for the safety of your children, our pilots, our ground crews and the airplanes.

Weather that can cause a delay or cancellation includes, but is not limited to: Wind, Rain, Low Cloud Ceiling, Icing, Extreme Temperatures, Et Cetera.
